Good news for those travelling to Spain and arriving into Madrid Airport. The Madrid Government have announced that from December 20th 2013 the cost of a taxi from the airport to Madrid city centre will be fixed at 30€. This applies whether travelling day or night and there will no longer be extra charges for luggage, ordering a taxi by phone, travelling on public holidays or Sundays.
