A new film on the Camino de Santiago has hit cinemas in Australia and NZ this past month following a group of Australian and Kiwi walkers on the Camino Frances, between the ages of 50 and 80 who embark on the historic Spanish pilgrimage.
Their journey on the Camino acts as a catalyst for catharsis and forces the group to “defy their age and physical ability as they come to terms with recent loss”. Their story is both heart-breaking and inspirational, ‘Camino Skies’ is an uplifting story about everyday people doing the extraordinary through the transformational journey of the Camino de Santiago Pligrimage.
