What to Pack – Day Pack

RAW Travel’s Mel Reynolds was recently out walking the Camino and during a break from walking gives an excellent summary in this short video  of what to carry in your day pack while walking the Camino.

I’m considering doing the Camino in May 2017, would be very interested in some info.

Just back from walking the Camino with Raw. I would like to add a couple of items we found essential for our day packs. A mans hankie is a must. Even if you don’t have a cold, noses run from the wind which you will get. Tissues are a problem as they fall out of pockets and litter the paths.
Also pack some large safety pins for attaching wet socks etc to your back pack for final drying. Pegs don’t work as they come off and you will lose your items.
Pack some things too so that when you take your boots off at lunch break, you have something to slip on. What ever you do don’t be tempted to take one step in bare feet, as a small cut can ruin your Camino
